Access and Transportation

 

  Montréal by Air
plane

The city is only an hour from New York, two hours from Chicago and six hours from Paris. Travel between Trudeau International Airport (Dorval) and downtown is easy - by taxi, limousine service or airport shuttle.

train

Trains (VIA Rail and AMTRAK) arriving from New York and Washington arrive at Central Station downtown, along with trains from across Canada. It's connected to the Bonaventure metro station.

bus

The city is 45 miles (75km) from the American border. Montréal's central bus terminal is connected to the Berri-UQAM metro station.
